Along the weathered edge of Walton’s shore, the sea wall bends like an old man’s spine—tired, cracked, but still holdingagainst the endless breath of tides. Salt has carved its signaturein every crease, every softened line;stories sleep in the concrete—storms survived, summers passed, footsteps long washed away. A lamppost stands in quiet witness, strapped and steady in the grey morning hush, while puddles gather the sky’s reflectionlike scattered thoughts left behind by rain. Far down the path, a lone figure wanders, small against the sweep of coastline,as if walking through memory itself—a reminder that everything here endures, even when the world feels like it’s drifting. Walton whispers in monochrome tones:that beauty isn’t always bright, and strength is sometimes foundin the places gently falling apart.
When I first started this website in 2022 Chatgpt did not exist. Now, having not added to the sight for three years, I can upload a photo and a poem is written. I really have missed working on this project. I left because I felt I should focus on work. Now, I realise I should have focused on taking pictures. Work just happens, creating art needs focus.
