Stuck between a rock and a hard place

5th of September 4pm-5pm, pretty much at high tide at 5pm. The evening light caught the incoming sea at the top of the beach, highlighting the waves as they reached their final destination. People were walking alone th promenade, becoming silloettes as they moved into the distance. Looking into every nook and cranny, stones and rubbish have been discarded between the man made sea defences, unnoticed to most and unlikely to ever move. I spent 45 minutes sitting watching and 15 minutes taking pictures, the observing is more important than the doing. When we are in between a rock and a hard place maybe that is what we should do. Observe, understand and then take action. Otherwise we fight and fight and become even more stuck.
